Pench National Park

Pench National Park is placed in Chhindwara and Seoni districts of Madhya Pradesh (India). The name is derived from the Pench River, flows through the National Park. The river flows from north to south that divides the park into equal eastern and western halves-the well woody areas of both districts. The park has several species of animals among which wild guars, tigers, leopard, monkeys and deer, etc., are easily observed. The park is nearby from Pauni on National Highway 7 and very close to Maharashtra & Nagpur. There are two famous gates for tourist entry, which is named as Turiya and Karmajhiri.
The area has always been rich in wildlife. It is dominated by fairly open canopy, mixed forests with considerable shrub cover and open grassy patches. The high habitat heterogeneity favours high population of Chital and Sambar. Pench tiger reserve has highest density of herbivores in India (90.3 animals per sq km).

Pench National Park - 01 Night / 02 Days
On arrival at Nagpur railway station or airport, you will be transferred to Pench. Check into a wildlife resort on arrival. In the evening you can enjoy nature walk in & around the resort. Later at night have dinner, followed by an overnight stay.
During this tour, we offer you an early morning and an afternoon jeep safari. Early in the morning, the jeep will pick you up from the resort and then you can enjoy the sight of different wild animals including the tiger, deer, elephant, gaur, so on and so forth. You can also treat your eyes by viewing the wonderful vistas formed by both domestic and migratory birds.
Later drive to Nagpur and upon arrival we will transfer you to the airport, railway station or your preferred hotel.
Sonegaon Airport is the nearest airport to Pench National Park which is located at a distance of 132 km. Regular flights to Pune and Mumbai are available from the airport. The airport is also well connected to other major cities of India. From the airport, tourists can take taxis to reach Pench.
Buses and jeeps can be taken to the Pench National Park from the bus stand which is at Seoni.. Seoni is linked to all places in Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra by a good network of Roadways. Pench on the Nagpur- Jabalpur highway is accessible by local transport options such as taxis. If you plan to take the bus from Nagpur, you will have to get down at Suktara or Khwasa.
Located at a distance of 30 km, Seoni station is the nearest railway station to Pench National Park. The station connects Pench National Park to important cities like Nagpur and Pune. On reaching the railway station, tourists can take buses or taxis to reach the park.
